Brand Session Spotlight: Therapist Olga Atteberry

When Olga Attebery first reached out, she was preparing to launch her private practice, Tranquil Hope — a space where she helps women heal from betrayal and rebuild a sense of safety, identity, and self-worth. Her specialty is betrayal trauma therapy, and from our first conversation, it was clear how intentional she was about creating a space that felt calm, welcoming, and trustworthy.

She initially wanted a couple of professional headshots for her new website, but as she shared more about her vision for Tranquil Hope, I realized she needed more than just a few polished portraits. She needed photos that told a story — one that would instantly communicate warmth, professionalism, and peace to someone navigating a deeply personal season of life.

That's when I suggested a full brand photography session instead of a standard headshot package. Branding photos would give her a variety of images to use across her website, social media, and marketing — photos that go beyond a smile and show who she is, how she works, and what it feels like to be in her presence.

Olga chose my Signature Brand Session and booked Meraki Studios in Norcross — a natural-light studio with multiple sets that gave us the flexibility to create a range of looks. She was drawn to tranquil settings with natural elements, like plants and soft textures, which aligned beautifully with her brand's aesthetic.

Before the shoot, we had a strategy call to finalize the shot list, choose outfits, and walk through what kinds of images would best support her brand. We planned for:

  • Professional headshots for directories and About pages
  • Lifestyle images that reflected her grounded presence
  • Detail shots with props like notebooks, books, and tea to reinforce a sense of calm and care

We also discussed specific setups: desk shots, cozy chair poses, and flat lays. The jewel-toned elements in the studio — like a deep blue accent wall and rich velvet chairs — added a subtle richness that matched her brand's vibe.

During the shoot, we played jazz and 70s/80s R&B (Olga's favorite), which helped create a relaxed, natural flow. She moved through each part of the session with ease, and we captured a beautiful mix of images that showed both her professionalism and her deeply empathetic nature.

After receiving her gallery, Olga said:

"Thank you so much! The photos are beautiful! I really appreciate the quick turnaround time. You were a pleasure to work with and made the process so enjoyable. I hope we have the opportunity to work together again."

Helping someone step into a new chapter with confidence and clarity — that's what it's all about.

If you're launching your own practice or ready for photos that feel aligned with who you are and what you do, I'd love to support you on that journey.
